Exterior Fire Alarms Level I

Topics covered in the Level I course include:

  1. Fire Detection Systems Design

  2. Understanding Blueprints and Specifications

  3. Fire Alarm Wiring and Methods

  4. Testing Techniques

  5. Fundamentals of Work Area Safety and Liability

The Associate Interior Fire Alarm Technician Level I program consists of a series of four courses, each followed by a short, multiple choice quiz (Unit Examination). Each course is designed to assist you in furthering your personal and professional growth, as well as contributing to your organizational needs and that of your community.

Through the Associate Interior Fire Alarm Technician Level I courses, you will review the basics that are required in your job for that personal and professional growth you desire. Through this program, you will be better prepared to lower the risks of accidents and injuries, further the development of professionalism in the industry, promote the need for Public Safety, and be better prepared to face the next level in the IMSA Fire Alarm Certification Program

Exterior Fire Alarms Level II

This course will review the basics that are required in your job for the personal and profession growth you desire.

Topics covered in the Level II course include:

  1. Fundamentals of Reporting Systems

  2. Multiple Use of Cable Plants

  3. Municipal Fire Alarm Systems (100 ma)

The Municipal Fire Alarm Technician Level II program consists of a series of three courses, each followed by a short, multiple choice quiz (Unit Examination). Each course is designed to assist you in furthering your personal and professional growth, as well as contributing to your organizational needs and that of your community.

Prerequisites: Exterior Fire Alarms Level I and at least two years of fire alarm experience.
